Goals / Objectives Determine the impacts of climate variability, increased nitrogen deposition, and management on resistance and resilience to plant community change and primary production of eastern South Dakota grasslands. 1. Discover how precipitation and N affect the resistance and resilience of plant community structure and productivity of eastern South . Most range recommendations in central and western South Dakota use 25 to 30% harvest efficiency and in northeast South Dakota they often use up to 50% for continuously grazed pastures or higher with rotational grazing because of rainfall. This decision directly affects the economics so, I put together a spreadsheet that included fertilizer.
mill residue very much in demand. Good quality shavings produced by these machines are sold for manufacturing wood/cement insulating boards (Atanackovic, ). With a little ingenuity those residues could also meet the needs of manufacturers of particle-board and lightweight wood/cement building blocks.
